In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Jackson North Medical Center is inviting the community to “An Evening with the Doctors: Breast Health Seminar” to learn about the latest techniques and strategies in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. The seminar will be led by a panel of expert physicians at Jackson North, 160 NW 170th St., North Miami Beach, at 5:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 18. It is free and open to the public. The hospital is also inviting all breast cancer survivors to a “Survivorship is Life Reception & Celebration.” It will take place at 6 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 27, and is also free and open to the public.
