TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) _ Gov. Rick Scott continues his makeover with a new official picture that's fuzzy, if not warm.
The bald-headed governor is smiling in both photos but showing more tooth in the new one issued Tuesday. In the old picture he's wearing a suit and tie and staring into the camera, giving him a deer-in-the headlights look.
The new picture literally is fuzzy. Scott is slightly out of focus but looks cooler and more casual. He's wearing an open-collar shirt and looking away from the camera.
Scott has been remaking his image in the wake of low poll numbers. That includes visiting newspaper editorial boards and hiring a new chief of staff.
Scott also is copying former Gov. Bob Graham's “workdays.'' He worked at a Tampa doughnut shop two weeks ago.
