INAUGURAL “TOUR DE TRASH” BEACH CLEANUPS: Loggerhead Marinelife Center is welcoming help to collect marine debris across Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach Counties throughout September. Participants will be given mesh bags to scour debris in alignment with best practices administered by NOAA and the Ocean Conservancy. Guests will listen to stimulating conversations on ocean conservation and join demonstrations that repurpose ocean plastic and give trash a second life through solar-powered machines.
