WEST PALM BEACH — The Palm Beach Association of Black Journalists (PBABJ) is sponsoring a poetry showcase to provide teen poets from the West Palm Beach and surrounding areas a chance to display their tremendous talent. The Drive-by Poetry Cafe strives to promote creative expression as a non-violent resolution to conflict. Featured guests include poets Jashua Sa-Ra, Yanatha Desouvre and Kimberly Charles.
Guests may bring one or more items, or give a monetary offering if interested. Donations will be given to Projé Timoun, a local organization aiding in the ongoing relief effort.
