HISTORYMIAMI MUSEUM DOCUMENTING 2020: The Smithsonian Affiliate is issuing a communitywide call to Miamians to share stories and items that capture their experiences of 2020. The project, Collecting 2020, will preserve a record through submissions, including written and video stories, that highlight how Miamians have been affected by and responded to these major events. ARSHT CALLING ALL MIAMI ARTISTS: The Adrienne Arsht Center invites performing artists to participate in the new Heart of Art online community project by sharing their “Art in the Time of Coronavirus.” Using video as the virtual

stage, 30 Miami-based performing artists will each be awarded $1,000 to create new works of dance, music, theater, spoken word and other performing arts that capture the community’s unique voice and experience during this unprecedented crisis. The new video works will be showcased on the Arsht Center’s website and promoted across the center’s social media platforms and Arsht@Home e-newsletter.
