WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Facebook was still buzzing at midweek about the 7th Annual “It’s a Fashion Affair” hosted by Neesha’s Finest Fashions. The sold-out, standing room event at the Ramada West Palm Beach, in conjunction with the Mothers Against Murderers Association (M.A.M.A.), benefitted the Sickle Cell Foundation of Palm Beach and the Treasure Coast, and drew fans and supporters from Atlanta to Orlando to Miami. The models in evening gowns for the “Rose is Still a Rose” final scene Tribute to Aretha Franklin were (from left): Pam Morris, Zykerria Lord, Nefetari Hazziez, Lynn Whitfield, Shenetria Moore, Designer/Model/CEO Aneesha Hanif, Juanita Lenair, Toccoa Lenair, Erika Davis, Teresa Johnson, Letitia Dawkins and Cecily Mathis. This year’s Celebrity Models included State Sen. Bobby Powell, West Palm Beach Commissioner Cory Neering and Riviera Beach Port Commissioner-elect Joseph Anderson, with Men’s Fashions provided by Harrell’s Fine Fashions of Lauderhill.
