Now it its 13th year, the “Taste of the Island” culinary event in Wilton Manors is a party with a purpose. In addition to benefitting Wilton Manors Historical Society, the Wilton Manors Development Alliance, the Kiwanis Club of Wilton Manors, and the City of Wilton Manors’ Leisure Services Department; the popular affair will feature more than 30 restaurants, breweries and eateries from south Florida’s tri-county region. CoSponsored by Grieco Ford of Ft. Lauderdale and Grieco Chevrolet of Ft. Lauderdale and iHeart radio, this year’s “Taste” event offers guests to sample culinary delights and libations in a charming historic park setting. Trader Joe’s, Ethos Greek Bistro and Kelly’s Landing are just a few of the participating vendors.
