FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – CareerSource Broward, along with community partners Mission United and Broward College, will host its annual Paychecks for Patriots Hiring Fair for veterans and job seekers interested in connecting with South Florida employers who are offering new and exciting career opportunities.

The one-day event will also feature a preevent résumé café from 9 to 10 a.m. for any veteran looking for assistance with their résumé. The first two hours of the hiring fair (10 a.m. to noon) will be dedicated to veterans only, with the general public welcome to attend after.

Companies scheduled to participate in this year’s hiring fair include: Broward County, Wells Fargo, Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, Macy’s, Bombardier Learjet, The Hertz Corp., Carnival Cruise Line and more.

The fair will take place at Broward College’s Central Campus Building 10, located at 3501 Davie Rd. in Davie. There is no cost to attend the hiring fair, but pre-registration is encouraged.
