MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Trayvon Martin Foundation at Florida Memorial University will present the Fourth Annual Circle of Fathers Weekend Conference, hosted by Tracy Martin.
Held August 11-12 at the beautifully landscaped Fathers event Intercontinental Doral, 2505 NW 87 Avenue in Doral, this year’s theme, “Fathers Out of the Shadow,” will highlight the weekend affair.
In addition to a meet and greet and gala, a distinguished panel will discuss a range of issues covering fatherhood including: ‘Rebuilding the Family Dynamics’ and ‘Moving Forward Through Knowledge.’
A variety of educational topics will include: fathers stepping out of the shadows and taking their rightful place; co-parenting, generational poverty and the residual effects of inappropriate spending.
Saturday night’s gala will feature keynote presenter, Benjamin L. Crump, notable civil rights attorney and president of the National Bar Association.

The Trayvon Martin Foundation was created in honor of Trayvon Martin, son of Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, whose life tragically ended due to senseless gun violence on February 26, 2012.
