ST. LOUIS – Now available on the App Store and Google Play, Lightgliders is designed to encourage biblical faith, positive values and meaningful conversations through games, videos and interactive activities.

The Lightgliders mobile app builds upon the Lightgliders cross-platform, faith-based game world for kids to now include smartphone, tablets and computers.

“The research tells us how critical the preteen years are for imparting faith and values, and our mission is to give parents an engaging way to do just that,” said Zach Fay, Founder and CEO of Kingdom Scene, which created Lightgliders. “We set out to create a world-class digital game and virtual world experience that equips parents with a positive and safe option to give their kids.”

Through a purposeful game story, Lightgliders showcases how a Christian worldview provides children with a strong sense of identity and purpose, and encourages them to shine in service to others in their own unique way.

The game features seven lead characters, each with different passions, personalities and nations of origin to inspire a global perspective and to offer relatable role models with distinct gifts.

Parents seeking to nurture deeper conversations with their children around faith, prayer and Scripture can access a parental window that shares the topics and issues their children are learning about each week. Reflection questions and conversation starters are provided as well.

“It was important to us that Lightgliders fosters meaningful conversations between kids and those who care about them the most,” said Fay. “Through conversations, trust is built, truth is shared, purpose is discovered and hope is spread.”

Initially launched as a massively multiplayer online (MMO) game, also known as a virtual world, for desktops, Lightgliders now includes a mobile app that offers mini games, activities and weekly content to align with and support the online environment.

The MMO aspect, known as Lightglider Academy, is a safe and controlled online community where children learn to respect themselves and each other, rescue Gliddles from the Machines, and restore the land from the blight.

Lightgliders is now offering a free sevenday trial. Parents and grandparents can then select subscription options starting as low as $5.95 per month for each child, along with special discounted subscriptions for the entire family. There are also packages available for larger groups, including children’s ministries and schools.
