PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship, housed in Florida State University’s College of Business, is accepting applications through Friday, March 31, for its inaugural Nonprofit Executive Program (NPEP) in Palm Beach County.

This program is offered at no cost to participants and is designed with nonprofit directors in mind. The NPEP offers a world-class opportunity for non-profit executives to assess their organization’s position, as well as enhance valuable skills such as how to better recognize and seize opportunities, and manage day-to-day operations.

Participants are also given the opportunity to connect with members of the Jim Moran Institute’s network for advice and support, which is available post-graduation for guidance and assistance.

The NPEP brings in some of the most accomplished experts, business consultants and leaders from around South Florida to teach in the program. Those interested should visit www.jmi.fsu.edu and click on “Programs” to apply.

Applicants must be actively involved in running an organization that has been in existence for at least three years and has three or more employees. Twenty-five applicants are accepted per session. Whether an applicant seeks a more global perspective, better ways to seize opportunities or greater insight into managing day-to-day operations, the NPEP can help.

The inaugural program will kick off on Tuesday, July 25 with an orientation and opening reception from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The first training session will start the following Wednesday. The program’s nine sessions will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at various Palm Beach County locations every other week through Nov. 15.

The NPEP is focused on growth, leadership expertise and financial success. While examining organization fundamentals, strategies and best practices from the perspective of an organization leader, participants will explore a broad range of topics including finance, marketing, technology and leadership.

The Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship cultivates, trains and inspires entrepreneurial leaders through world- class executive education, applied training, public recognition and leading-edge research.

The institute’s South Florida operations launched in 2009 and serves the community through the Advice Straight Up Expert Speaker Series, CEO roundtables, an annual Business & Leadership Conference, Nonprofit Executive Program and the Small Business Executive Program.

It focuses on assisting CEOs, entrepreneurs, business owners and presidents of small businesses and nonprofit organizations with a minimum of three employees who have been in business for over three years for little to no cost.
