Dania Beach, Fla. – Creativity abounds in Dania Beach. The city’s vision of a signature event that centers on artists and their creative expression has become a reality with the upcoming fifth annual Dania Beach Arts and Seafood Celebration. This festival will celebrate the diversity of local and regional artists, craft artists, specialty food vendors and handmade products by giving these artisan small businesses the opportunity to exhibit and sell their wares.

The Dania Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (DBCRA) is proud to announce a call to artists and craft vendors interested in selling their work/edibles as part of the two-day celebration. To apply, visit the online application at daniabeachartsandseafoodcelebration.com.

Sam McInnis, a South Florida native who was awarded Best Ceramics Artisan last year, is ecstatic to be an art vendor for the third year in a row.

“I love supporting this festival and stand behind shopping local. It has been a magnificent experience participating in this event. Watching it grow over the years makes me overjoyed to be a part of it again this year,” McInnis said.

This outdoor festival portrays the uniqueness of Broward’s oldest city and reflects its artistic vibe. It will take place April 8-9 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., respectively.

It will feature a variety of artisans displaying their creativity in twelve art forms. The site of the show is Frost Park, 300 NE 2 Street in Dania Beach. Convenient parking is located across the street in the Dania Jai Alai parking lot.
