THE ROOTS – the legendary Grammy Award- winning hip-hop crew and arguably the hardest working musicians in popular culture – continue to break the mold 25 years after the band was founded. Named one of the greatest live acts by Rolling Stone, their career has evolved to include a weekly gig as the house band for The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, hosting sold- out jam sessions across the country, collaborating on new works for contemporary performances and consistently churning out Grammy-nominated albums.

Most recently, THE ROOTS’ founders, Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson and Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter executive produced the cast album for the critically acclaimed Broadway musical Hamilton. Hamilton won Best Musical Theater Album in February 2016 adding another Grammy to their resume.
