BALTIMORE (AP) _ An elderly man who was severely beaten while fishing in a south Baltimore park will be in court to describe the racially motivated attack.
Seventy-seven-year-old James Privott (pruh-VAHT') will deliver a victim impact statement Monday at the sentencing of Calvin Lockner, a white supremacist who goes by the nickname "Hitler.''
Lockner pleaded guilty last week to several charges including armed carjacking and first-degree assault.
He will receive a 31-year sentence.
Also speaking at the hearing will be a female corrections officer whom Lockner admitted assaulting. Prosecutors say he threw a cup of urine in the officer's face.
Lockner belongs to white supremacist groups and has a tattoo of Adolf Hitler on his midsection.
He has spent most of his adult life in prison.
