Since 1989, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami has been making a significant contribution to the lives of families in need of quality affordable housing. Today almost 1,000 families throughout Miami-Dade County have partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami in areas such as Liberty City, Little Haiti, Little River, Overtown, Miami Gardens, Highland Park, South Miami, West Perrine, South Miami Heights, Goulds, Princeton, Homestead and Florida City.

To help the organization, Rice House of Kabob restaurant is hosting a fundraiser that, for $10, allows you to have bottomless appetizers, gluten-free beer and wine. Each purchase/donation will be matched by the restaurant.

Party with a purpose on Thursday, Dec. 17 from 5pm to 7pm at 5818 South Dixie Highway, South Miami.
