Miami-Dade Commissioner Audrey M. Edmonson, left, recently joined City of Miami Commissioner Keon Hardemon and other dignitaries to break ground on a new 158-unit affordable apartment community, The Plaza at the Lyric in historic Overtown. This development is the product of a partnership with the Gatehouse Group, Inc. (GHG), the Southeast Overtown/Park West Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), Mt. Zion Developments, Incorporated (MZDI), Miami-Dade County, and the State of Florida.
