HOLLYWOOD — Chris Tucker brings his Payback Tour to Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on Saturday, July 12, at 8 p.m. Chris Tucker is best known for playing the role of Detective James Carter in the Rush Hour film series. Reports say the show has been well received and sold out in several cities.
“Audiences are loving my new material and I am sharing some hilarious and crazy life experiences,” said Tucker.
Tucker began his career as frequent stand-up performer on Def Comedy Jam in the 1990s. He came to prominence in the 1995 film Friday alongside Ice Cube, and then appeared in Luc Besson’s The Fifth Element before beginning work on the Rush Hour films. He has also starred in other movies such as Money Talks with Charlie Sheen and Dead Presidents. In 2012, Tucker appeared the Oscar nominated film Silver Linings Playbook with Robert DeNiro, Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper.
Tucker is also a humanitarian and spends much of his spare time traveling and working with Chris Tucker Foundation.
