South Dade Gospel Fest: The Miami-Dade County Black Affairs Advisory Board presents the 2014 Gospel Fest at 5 p.m., at the South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center, 10950 SW 211 St., Cutler Bay. The fest introduces the South Florida Ministries of Music featuring special guest soloist Sister Velda Virgil. Up Close & Personal Concert and Master Class: Venetian Arts Society presents Up Close & Personal with Metropolitan Opera Star Leona Mitchell at NSU’s Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale.
