James also had a season-high eight rebounds and eight assists as Miami topped 100 points for the fifth straight game, extending their team-record run to begin the season.
Early in the game, James became the fifth player in NBA history to score 10 points or more in 500 consecutive games. A four-time MVP, James joined Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (with streaks of 787 and 508 games), Michael Jordan (866), Karl Malone (575) and Moses Malone (526) as the only players to accomplish the feat. Dwyane Wade had 20 and Ray Allen had 14 points to complement James. The Heat will next play the L.A. Clippers at p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, at the American Airlines Arena.
