tracey_ashley.jpgSILVER SPRING, Md. ― TV One has announced that Miami’s own Tracey Ashley was hand-picked by Wanda Sykes to join her as one of the featured comediennes on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network’s all-female comedy special, Wanda Sykes Presents Herlarious.
The one-hour comedy special, the first of its kind to air on OWN, premiered July 13. Ashley will be featured on the second episode, airing Saturday, July 20 from 10 – 11 p.m. ET/PT. 

In the special, host Wanda Sykes is joined by Ashley, OWN’s Raising Whitley star Kym Whitley and two other emerging female stand-ups, as Oprah’s famed Harpo Studios become a chic comedy club with a live audience.
A favorite for her seamless story-telling, sharp topical material and hilarious punch lines, Ashley is a comedienne on the rise.
She has performed on more than 100 college campuses, and tours comedy clubs across the country.
She was nominated by Campus Activities magazine as Best Female Performer, and was a semi-finalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing.
Ashley has appeared as a co-host on TVLand’s Prime Movies and will be seen on Nick’s Mom Night Out. 
Fans say her comedy is hilarious, endearing and all around fun to watch, as Ashley entertains audiences with the ups and downs of her world.
