Marathon Beach Party & Fireworks: In one of the Keys’ largest and longest fireworks displays, crowds gather in Marathon for a patriotic parade that begins around 10:30 a.m. and proceeds from Marathon High School on Sombrero Beach Road, MM 50 oceanside, to Sombrero Beach. An all-day celebration there featuring food, drink, and family-friendly entertainment concludes with a fireworks show. Call 305-743-5417.

Fireworks at Vista View: Vista Park stays open until 10 p.m. to
allow visitors to view fireworks from Davie, Miramar, Pembroke Pines, Plantation, Sunrise, and possibly Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood, depending on conditions. The park at 4001 S.W. 142nd Ave., Davie, opens at 8 a.m., most shows are scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. Call 954-357-8898.
