RIVIERA BEACH — Executives with Bloomingdales and Florida Power & Light will speak to students at the Suncoast High School Professional Women’s Forum in April.
Laura Gallo, operating vice president and general manager of Bloomingdale’s Palm Beach Gardens Store, will speak to Suncoast women students during the April 9 luncheon meeting on the Suncoast campus.
She has an extensive and impressive career in retail merchandising.
Ethel Isaacs Williams, Florida Power & Light Company regional manager of External Affairs, will address the student club on April 23. Williams is a Palm Beach County native and has a law degree.
“Our students are extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to hear how these two outstanding women achieved success in college and in their careers,” said Gabrielle Holtzman, founder and president of the Suncoast Professional Women’s Forum. “Our past speakers have included a civil engineer, an investment advisor, a Palm Beach County School District assistant superintendent, an attorney and a judicial administrator.”
Suncoast High School Principal Linda Cartlidge noted that “Women face unique challenges in the workplace.
This mentoring student club hosts female role models as guest speakers to share success stories, provide advice and encourage charitable activities. The meetings also expose the young women to a wide variety of professional careers.”
