OPA-LOCKA, Fla. –The Carrie Meek Foundation recently hosted the first of its series of community informational meetings. Topics discussed during the session included the development of the Carrie Meek International Business Park which is currently under construction at the Miami Opa-locka Airport.

The business park is the future home to an Amazon Fulfillment Center. In addition, leadership from the Carrie Meek Foundation spoke about the organization’s work force development program which will help residents develop job search skills and provide job training.

The Foundation’s second community informational meeting took place on Monday, January 29 at 6:00 p.m. at Sherbondy Village Community in Opa-locka.
