NORTH CENTRAL MIAMI-DADE – A dispute over the future of the Westview Golf and Country Club property was scheduled for an administrative hearing this Thursday, May 23, several months after the Miami-Dade County Commission voted to approve an amendment to the county’s Development Master Plan that would allow for the building of large warehouses and truck traffic in a residential neighborhood.

FORT LAUDERDALE – A Lauderdale Lakes resident who was left in a vegetative state after a medical procedure in December 2008 has been awarded $28.5 million in a four week jury trial.
He was awarded $23.57 million for past and future medical expenses and $5 million for pain and suffering.
